Holiy FamilyHIDDEN MYSTERY IS REVEALED – CHRISTMAS

Dear Friends, Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour JESUS CHRIST. I thank God for all of you.

“The Mystery that has been hidden throughout the ages and generations has now been revealed to his saints. To them God chose to make known how great among the gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is CHRIST IN YOU, THE HOPE OF GLORY” (Colotians 1:26-27). Let us thank our Heavenly Father for revealing us His only son JESUS. This mystery is hidden even today for thousands of people around us. It is our duty to make known this JESUS to others. Even today thousands of people are ignorant about this NAME JESUS. Everyone of us have a great task ahead of us to witness JESUS by our lives, words and deeds. Are you ready to respond to his call “whom shall I send and who will go for us?” (Isiah 6:8)

Again St. Paul writes “He has rescued us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have REDEMPTION, the FORGIVENESS OF SINS” (Col 1:13-14). It is our duty to carry out this great mission on those who are around us. Are you ready to do it?

Paul continues “I want their hearts to be encouraged and united in love, so that they may have all the riches of assured understanding and have the knowledge of God’s mystery, that is CHRIST HIMSELF, in whom are hidden all the treasures of WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE”(Col 2:2-3). JESUS CHRIST himself is our Wisdom and Knowledge. In his letter to the Philippians, St. Paul writes: “More than that, I regard everything as loss because of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things, and I regard them as rubbish, in order that I may gain CHRIST ……I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the sharing of his sufferings by becoming like him in his death, if somehow I may attain the resurrection from the dead” (Phil 3:8,10-11). This should be our desire.

CHRIST should be the foundation of our Lives: Col 2:6-10

St. Paul says “ As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.

See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the universe, and not according to CHRIST. For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have come to fullness in him, who is the head of every ruler and authority”

Rev. 11:15 says that “… the Kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign forever and ever”

We are invited to live a NEW LIFE IN CHRIST: Col (3:1-7)

* “So if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that you are above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.

* Set your minds on the things that are above, not on things that are on earth, for you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

* When Christ who is your life is revealed, then you also will be revealed with him in glory.

Therefore: Put to death, whatever in you is earthly: fornication, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed (which is idolatry). On account of these the wrath of God is coming on those who are disobedient. These are the ways you also once followed, when you were living that life.”

Who are we? And how our life should be: Col 3: 12-16

“As God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved…

‘But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people, in order that you may proclaim the mighty acts of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy’ (1 Pet 2:9-10)

* Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness and patience. Bear with one another and, if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.

* Above all clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

* And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful.

* Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly. ”

I have chosen theses words from Paul’s letter to the Colotians, so that, it will be an inspiration to our Christian life. ‘Christmas’ is a mission to reach out to others especially those who do not know Christ. ‘Christmas’ is also a mission to reach out the downtrodden by our selfless service.

Be a hope, be a missionary by your generosity and by your sincerity. Let your light shine among men. Witness your Catholic faith through power filled intercession, be a prayer warrior. My son, my daughter, I have no place to born again in this earth. Can you give me your HEART? I want to dwell there.

Hidden mystery is revealed….don’t hide the revealed mystery. I need you to take it to everyone during this Christmas.

May God bless you.

MERRY CHRISTMAS – 2008

HAPPY NEW YEAR - 2009
