December 24th 2018 at 7:30pm OBC State President of Bharatiya Janata Party Mr. Srinivas, husband of Present MLA of Hiriyur Constituency Mrs. Poornima Srinivas visited Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur, Chitradurga District, Diocese of Shimoga. He came to wish for the Christmas in behalf of MLA of Hiriyur Constituency. They presented 2000 pieces cakes for the people who come on Christmas Eve for "Christmas KALASANJE". He met Parish Priest Fr Franklin D'Souza and Fr Stany Dcunha and wished them for Christmas.

Fr Franklin D'Souza prayed for Mr. Srinivas and his team. He blessed them and thanked them on behalf of Catholic Community.
