January 25th 6pm to 27th 4pm, Diocese of Shimoga organized Mini Youth Convention at Don Bosco center at Bhadravati. Fr. Anil D'Sa was the resource person. Diocesan ICYM Director Fr Pius D'Souza organized the Convention together with the Diocesan Executive Committee. From Our Lady of Assumption Church Five youth participated in the Convention. Namely: Sebastian Vinod, Alexander, Ebinezar, Appu and Jayasheelan. Parochial Administrator of Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur Fr Franklin D'Souza encouraged these youth to take part in the Convention. There were 45 youth leaders from all over the Diocese. Bishop Francis Serrao Sj visited and motivated the youth.
