March 6th 2015:Konkani Catholic Welfare Association Bhayandar (KCWAB) organised one day Lenten Retreat at Our Lady of Nazareth Church, Bhayandar, Mumbai. ICYM National Director from CBCI, Delhi Rev. Fr. Franklin D’Souza preached Retreat. At 9 a.m. KCWAB President welcomed Fr. Franklin D’Souza. After the lighting of the lamp Parish Priest Fr. Anselm welcomed on behalf of the parish.
From 9 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. Bhayandar Konkani Choir group led the Praise and Worship session. Fr. Franklin spoke on “Praise God at all the time”. He narrated power of Praise through biblical incidents. At 11 a.m. Fr. Franklin offered Holy Eucharist and preached on “Repentance and power of Confession”. After the lunch Fr. Franklin spoke on “Forgiveness brings healing”. At 4 pm Healing adoration was led by Fr. Franklin. Mr. George Sequeira thanked Fr. Franklin D’Souza for preaching a meaningful retreat based on the Word of God. 1000 people benefited from the retreat.
