February 15th to 17th, 2010 : Retreat at HOLY CROSS PARISH, HOSABETTU-Moodbidre Varado
- Report by Yesu Sparsha TeamLent began for the people of Hosabettu with the renewal retreat conducted by Fr Franklin and Bro.T.K.George on February 15th, 2010 which ended on Feb 17th, Ash Wednesday.
Rev Fr Assisi, the parish priest welcomed the team. Fr. Franklin and Bro. TK George touched the hearts of the people with their preaching. Team visited the sick and elderly parishioners together with the parish priest and prayed for them.
Word of God, Love of God, Heling in the name of Jesus, Importance of the sacrament of reconciliation, Confession, Eucharist, forgiveness and commandments were some of the topics. Ash wednesday was celebrated meaningfully.
On first day 250, second day 400, last day 600 faithful participated in the retreat. Separate prayers for small children, Youth, Couples and for the assosiations of the parish were conducted by the team.
Fr assissi thanked all those who worked for the success of the retreat.
