Retreat began on 17th at 10 am with praise and worship, Bro. George preached on God's love. He explained his encounter with the Lord when he was in the film industry. Being a sinner how Jesus loved him, He will surely love all the youth more than me. At 12 pm the Diocesan Bishop Most Rev. Dr. Peter Machado together with 6 priests offered Holy Mass and prayed for the success of the retreat. He also invited the youth to love Jesus and to lead a Holy life. He stressed that Youth have lot of talents and potentiality. We have to contribute in the society and in the church.
After lunch at 3 pm Bro. T. K. George preached on "How to recognize we are in sin and come out of sinful life". Then he stressed the youth to be responsible in their life. They have to respect their elders specially their Parents, Church authorities. Every one is moved by his heart touching, inspiring talk.
At 6.30pm healing adoration was conducted by the team
Fr Franklin spoke on various real healing incidents which he saw and experienced in his priestly life. Also he explained the passage Luke 18:35- 19:10 about blind Barthemeus and Zacheus. He stressed that Jesus the healer hears our prayers, Jesus understands our hearts desire. This session was concluded around 9pm.
On 18th day began with Rosary at 7am. Bro. William and Bro. T.K.George conducted the praise and worship. Then Bro. George spoke on INNER HEALING. Session continued till 9am
10am Fr Franklin spoke on "how sin enters and how we have to reject sin and accept Jesus's invitation to Repent and Believe in his Words". 11am Sacrament of Reconciliation was there. 10 priests were there to help the youth. Healing adoration was conducted during this time which ended at 1.30 pm.
After lunch praise and worship was conducted. At 3 pm Holy Mass was offered together with nine priests by Fr Phillip Kutty of Belgaum Diocese. He thanked God for such an anointing retreat. Fr Franklin preached on "Forgiveness brings healing and anointing". After the communion, all the priests laid their hands on the youth and prayed for the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
At 5pm Fr Vijay Mendith the diocesan Youth director thanked all those helped to conduct this retreat successfully.
