THE APOSTLES' CREED
(Mt. 8:5-13, LK7: 1-10)
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, Our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

The Lord's Prayer: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

The Hail Mary (Lk 1:26-56)

The Mysteries of the Rosary :

I. The Joyful Mysteries

1. The Annunciation to Mary (Lk.1 :26-38)
* "Greetings, favoured one! The Lord is with you" (Lk 1 :28)
* "Here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word" (Lk 1 :38)

2. The Visitation of Mary (Lk 1 :39-45)
* "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb" (Lk 1 :42)
*"And blessed in she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her by the Lord" (Lk 1 :45)

3. The Nativity of Our Lord (Lk 2: 1-7)
* " ... to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord" (Lk 2: 11)
* "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life" (Jn 3: 16)

4. The presentation of the child Jesus in the Temple (Lk 2:22-40)
* "For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the presence of all peoples" (Lk 2:30,31)
" a light for revelation to the gentiles and for glory to your people Israel" (Lk 2:32)

II. Mysteries of Light

1. Baptism of Jesus at Jordan (Lk 3:21-22)
* "And the Holy Spirit descended upon him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, "You are my Son, the Beloved; with you I am well pleased" (Lk 3:22)

2. Christ's Self-revelation at the marriage of Cana (Jn 2:1-11)
* "Woman, what concern is that to you and to me? My hour has not yet come" (Jn 2:4)
* His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you" (Jn 2:5)

3. Christ's announcement of the Kingdom of God with the invitation to Conversion (Mk 1:14,15)
* "The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God has come near, repent, and believe in the good news" (Mk 1: 15)
"For the Kingdom of God is not food and drink but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit" (Rom 14: 17)

4. Transfiguration of Jesus (Mt 17: 1-8)
"This is my Son, the Beloved; with him I am well pleased; listen to him!" (Mt 17:5)

5. Institution of the Eucharist at the last Supper. (Mt 26:26-29)

III. The Sorrowful Mysteries

1. The Agony in the Garden (Lk 22:39-44)
* "Pray that you may not come into the time of trial" (Lk 22:40)
* "In his anguish he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat became like great drops of blood of falling down on the ground (Lk 22:44)

2. The Scourging at the pillar (John 19: 1)
* "But he was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the punishment that made us whole, and by his bruises we are healed" (Is 53:5)
* "And you will be hated by all because of my name. But the one who endures to the end will be saved" (Mt 10:22)

3. The crowning with Thorns (Jn 19:2)
* Pilate went out again and said to them, "Look, I am bringing him out to you to let you know that I find no case against him" (Jn 19:4)

4. The Carrying of the Cross (Jn 19: 17)

5. The Crucification and Death of Our Lord on the cross (Lk 23:44-46)
* When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing beside her, he said to his mother, "Woman, here is your son". Then he said to the disciple "Here is your mother" (Jn 19:26-27)
who died and was raised for them" (2 Cor 5: 15)

IV. The Glorious Mysteries

1. The Resurrection of Our Lord (Mk 16: 1-8)
* "I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live" (Jn 11:25)
* "Now after he rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons". (Mk 16:9)

2. The Ascension of our Lord (Mk 16: 19)
* "For the Son of Man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father" (Mt 16:27)
* "I am the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last. the beginning and the end" (Rev 22: 13)

3. The descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles (Acts 2: 1-12)
* "Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each one of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit" (Acts 2:3,4)
* "For God did not give a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self discipline" (2 Tim 1:7)

4. The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven (Lk 1:46-55)
* "Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed" (Lk 1:48)
* "So that, just as sin exercised dominion in death, so grace might also exercise dominion through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Rom 5:21)

5. The Coronation of our Lady as Queen of heaven and earth (Rev 12: 1-17)
* "A woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars" (Rev 12: 1)
* "He has brought down the powerful from their thrones, and lifted up the lowly" (Lk 1:52)

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins. save us from the firs of hell, lead all souls into heaven, help especially those who are need of thy mercy.

Hail, Holy Queen: Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of mercy, hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To you do we send up our signs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tear. Turn them, most gracious advocate, your eyes of mercy towards us. And after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus.
