First Holy Communion at Our Lady of Assumption Church Hiriyur

December 27, 2020 : 21 Children of Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur, Chitradurga District, Diocese of Shimoga received Holy Communion.

Rev. Fr George K. A, Parish Priest of Infant Jesus Church, Challakere, was the main celebrant. Rev. Fr Nelson Alphonse D'Souza, Assistant Parish Priest of Our Lady of Assumption Church Hiriyur preached the homily. In his homily he made known the children and parents about the importance of the Sacraments.

Rev. Fr Steven SDB from Tumkur and Parish Priest Rev. Fr Franklin D'Souza concelebrated the Holy Eucharist.

Parish Priest Fr Franklin D'Souza prepared the children for two months through catechism.
