Our Lady of Assumption Church - Hiriyur celebrated the feast of St. Sebastian

January 20, 2021; Our Lady of Assumption Church - Hiriyur, Chitradurga District Diocese of Shimoga, celebrated the feast of St. Sebastian.

It is the tradition that during pandemic through the intervention of St. Sebastian people were healed. Every year faithful celebrated this feast at prayer center which is dedicated to St. Sebastian. This year due to Covid 19 this feast was celebrated in the Church.

On January 18 & 19 Fr Nelson D'Souza celebrated the Holy Eucharist and led the novena. On January 20th feast day Fr Franklin D'Souza celebrated Holy Eucharist and preached a meaningful homily on St. Sebastian in the light of the Gospel.
