September 5, 2021: Teachers' Day was organised at Assumption School, Hiriyur, Chitradurga District, in a simple way.

Manager and Correspondent Fr Franklin D'Souza was the president of the program. Counselor Mrs. Magdala Maria and Mr. Yesu were the chief guests.

Prayer song was done by Kannada Higher Primary School teachers followed by lighting of the lamp by dignitaries.

Mrs. Anitha Joseph welcomed Manager and Correspondent Fr Franklin D'Souza, St. Anne's Church Convent Superior Sr. Jude, Chief guest Counselor Mrs. Magdala Maria and her husband Mr. Yesu, HM Mr. Henry Crasta, HMs Sister Succorina Lorenzo, Sister Alphonse Alwyn and HM Fr Alphonse Nelson D'Souza and all the teachers for the program.

Students Ms. Namana and Naveen, Ms Arpitha shared their experience about the teachers. Ms. Rakshita & group, Ms. Steffie Melanie & group and Ms. Falanaz & group entertained teachers with their dance and song.

Assumption English Medium High School Fr Alphonse Nelson D'Souza conducted simple games for teachers.

Manager & Correspondent Fr Franklin D'Souza together with the HM's honored the counselor and her husband for their loving service to the school.

Fr Franklin D'Souza in his speech thanked teachers and appreciated their selfless service. He said with Love and Service, simplicity and Humility, together with sincerity we can achieve the heights.

Mr. Tammanna proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Dayanand was the MC of the program.
