October 22, 2021: Fr Franklin D'Souza celebrated his 48th birthday at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur-Chitradurga. District, Karnataka, Diocese of Shimoga.

Morning at 8am House community celebrated his birthday by cutting of the cake.

At 9:45am Assumption School Community during the assembly wished Manager and Correspondent Fr Franklin D'Souza a very happy birthday. Sweets were served to all the children.

At 2:45pm a simple felicitation program was organised by the Assumption family at the church hall. High Tea was organised for the staff.

At 6:30pm together with the Parish community he thanked Almighty God for the gift of life through the eucharistic celebration. Then there was a small felicitation function. Cake was served for all the participants.

At 8pm a dinner was organised together with religious Sisters serving at Parish in the presbytery.

Assistant Parish Priest Fr Alphonse Nelson D'Souza took initiative to organise Fr Franklin D'Souza's birthday. Fr Franklin D'Souza thanked everyone for their love and wishes.
