May 27th & 28th, 2022: Sts. Peter and Paul prayer group organised two days Pentecost Retreat for the faithful. Fr Franklin D'Souza from the Diocese of Shimoga, Karnataka, India preached the retreat.

On 27th retreat began at 6:30pm with Rosay. At 7pm Sts. Peter and Paul prayer group led the Praise and Worship. At 7:45pm Fr Franklin D'Souza spoke on Luke 11:5-13. He explained the vs 13 "If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”. He explained the what happens when we are filled by the Power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). At 8:30pm he led the healing adoration. First day's retreat concluded at 9pm.

On 28th retreat began at 7pm with Praise and Worship led by Sts. Peter and Paul prayer group. At 7:45pm Fr Franklin D'Souza preached the Word of God based on Acts 2:1-4 "When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability".

He in his talk explained how to experience Pentecost in our lives. He said through Prayer by Abiding in Jesus, Abiding in His Word, and Abiding in his love. Pentecost removed the fear from the disciples and they were able to do what Jesus did, the way Jesus proclaimed the word of God. At 8:30pm he led the Anointing Adoration. Retreat concluded at 9pm.
