Tumkuru, April 1, 2023: Second day's Lenten Retreat at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Tumkuru, Archdiocese of Bangalore, began at 3pm with Rosary led by Prolife Manjula Joy. At 3:30pm Fr Franklin D'Souza and Bro. Harshith Castelino led the Praise and Worship.
At 4:15pm Prolife Manjula Joy spoke on "Importance of life" (1 Cor 3:16-17 & John 10:10). At 5pm Fr Franklin D’Souza spoke on "Crisis in life & how to come out from the Crisis through the power of the Word of God". (Luke 5:1-11).
At 6pm Bro. T. K. George spoke on "Sin and its consequences".
At 7pm Fr Franklin D'Souza led the healing adoration. At 7:30pm he celebrated Holy Eucharist together with Parish Priest Fr Edward David.
Retreat concluded at 8:30pm. Meals was serves to all.
