Shivamogga, Sagara, August 27, 2023: Shivamogga Diocesan Service of Communion (DSC) together with St. Joseph's Church, Sagara organised night Vigil on August 26th 9pm to 27th 5am.

Karnataka Regional Service of Communion (KRSC) resource team led the night Vigil together with Fr Franklin D'Souza.

Night Vigil began with Holy Rosary led by Fr Franklin D'Souza, DSC & KRSC Spiritual Director at 9pm. Then Parish Priest Monsignor Felix Joseph Noronha welcomed Fr Franklin D'Souza and DSC as well as KRSC team.

On behalf of DSC, its coordinator Bro. David Raj welcomed KRSC Coordinator Bro. Cherian Ramapuram, KRSC Secretary Bro. Thomas Chinnappa, KRSC members; Bro. Manuel Abhishek & Bro. Joseph Varghese. He also welcomed NSC Intercessory coordinator Bro. Mahime Raj and Bro. Abhishek who led the music ministry.

At 9:45pm Bro. Mahime Raj and Bro. Abhishek led the Praise and Worship. At 10:30pm Fr Franklin D’Souza exposed Blessed Sacrament and led the worship till 11:15pm. From 11:15pm he broke the word of God Mark 16: 12 - 20.

At 12:15am Bro. Joseph Varghese spoke on Word of God. Then Fr Franklin D’Souza gave the blessing.

There was a break between 1am to 1:30am.

At 1:30am Bro. Abhishek and Bro. Mahime Raj led the Praise and Worship. Fr Franklin D'Souza exposed the Blessed Sacrament.

At 1:45am Bro. Cherian Ramapuram KRSC Coordinator spoke on Prayer Life. At 2:45am Bro. Mahime Raj led the Intercession. Then Fr Franklin D'Souza led the healing adoration.

At 4am Fr Franklin D'Souza celebrated Holy Eucharist and thanked God for the night Vigil. In his homily he spoke on "what it means having Christ experience".

Faithful from different Parishes of the Diocese were present. From the DSC Coordinator Bro. David Raj, Bro. Francis D'Mello, Bro. Francis Lopis, Bro. Wilson, Bro. John Lobo and Sis. Mary Louis were present.

Fr Franklin D’Souza thanked DSC and KRSC members. Hr also thanked Msgr Felix Joseph Noronha for his support in organising the night Vigil and the intercessory team of the Parish.
