February 23,2024: Holy Redeemer Church, Belthangady, Diocese of Mangalore felicitated Fr Franklin D’Souza during the Lenten Retreat of the Parish.

Last year 2023 Fr Franklin D'Souza celebrated his Golden birthday and this year 2024 he is celebrating his Priestly Ordination Silver Jubilee. End of the retreat on February 21st at 7:15pm Priests and Parishioners felicitated Fr Franklin D’Souza.

Parish Priest Walter D'Mello, Principal Fr Clifford Pinto were on the Altar. Parish Council Secretary Mr. Walter Monis introduced Fr Franklin D'Souza and Ms. Renny Vas spoke on Priestly Journey of Fr Franklin D'Souza and spoke felicitatory words. Then Parish Council members and the Clergy honoured Fr Franklin D’Souza with Shawl, garland, fruits and with a momento. Choir Master Mr. Vincent T. D'Souza composed special felicitatory song for Fr Franklin D'Souza.

Fr Franklin D'Souza thanked the Clergy as well as parishioners for their love and prayers. He appreciated their thoughtfulness and requested to pray for his mission and ministry.

Parish Council Secretary Mr. Gilbert Pinto thanked Fr Franklin D’Souza for preaching a meaningful retreat and thanked musician for his melodious singing. He thanked everyone who helped in making this retreat a successful.
