Lenten Retreat at Our Lady of Assumption Church Hiriyur, Chitradurga District,Diocese of Shimoga

Chitradurga, Hiriyur, March 28,2024: Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur organised three days Lenten Retreat for its faithful fro. March 25th to 27th, 2024. Timing if the retreat from 5pm to 9pm.

Bro. Mahime Raj from the Logos Retreat Centre as well as NSC National Intercessory Incharge preached the Retreat. Bro. Abhishek led the music ministry, Bro. Andrew Reddy accompanied them.

On March 25th he spoke on "How to surrender one's anger and how to overcome it". On March 26th he spoke on "Family and our relationship with God". On 27th March he spoke on "Repentance and Reconciliation". Confessions were organised on the last day from 7pm to 8pm. Four priests namely; Fr Martin SDB, Fr Benny SDB, Fr Alphonse Nelson D'Souza and Fr Franklin D'Souza helped in the confessional. Healing adoration was held every day. Parish Priest Fr Franklin D'Souza exposed the Blessed Sacrament and gave the benediction also offered Holy Eucharist on all thr three days.
