August 18, 2019; Fourth days novena at Our Lady of Assumption Church Hiriyur Chitradurga District Diocese of Shimoga began at 6pm with procession to St. Mary Road. It is the tradition of Hiriyur faithful that they take procession on the previous day of the feast in to St Mary's Road. It is their strong belief that powerful intercession of Mother Mary helped them in their difficulties.
