March 1, 2013 : Retreat was preached for the 300 nurses of Mother Vannani Nursing School & College of Nursing, Kadakatla, Tadepalligudem by Fr Franklin and team from February 15th to 17th 2013. The Resource Persons were Fr. Franklin D’Souza, National Youth Director, Delhi, Mr. Francis Lobo, Advocate, Karwar, Music Team: Mr. Srujan, Mr. Prashant, Ms. Minu, Ms.Reena - JY Hyderabad.
Sr. Monica Principal of Mother Vannani Nursing School & College of Nursing welcomed the team. Main topics dealt on the first day were: Importance of Praising God, Meaning of Praise and Worship, Word of God, Jesus the Healer by Fr Franklin D’Souza and Knowledge of God, Fellowship with God by Bro. Francis Lobo. At 6pm Fr. Franklin D’Souza conducted the adoration and prayed for the participants.
On the Second day: Mr. Srujan Youth from Hyderabad led the Praise and Worship and gave his testimony. Fr. Franklin D’Souza dealt with Sin and Repentance, when sin enters holiness exits; Mr. Francis Lobo dealt with salvation of God & consequences of sin. Sacrament of Reconciliation was organized from 3pm to 5pm. At 6pm Fr. Franklin D’Souza offered thanks giving mass.
On the final day Praise and worship was conducted by Jesus Youth Team in which Mr. Prashant, Ms. Reena & Ms. Meenu (full time volunteer) gave their testimony. Fr. Franklin gave a short history of CBCI National Youth Mission and about ICYM. Bro. Francis Lobo dealt with theme Holy Spirit and follow up. Fr. Franklin D’Souza spoke during the Eucharist on forgiveness which brings healing. Afternoon Inner Healing, Biblical blessings by adoring God and honoring parents conducted by Fr. Franklin D’Souza. Retreat was concluded with Infilling of the Holy Spirit adoration by Fr. Franklin D’Souza.
