Jan.28, 2018: Legion of Mary Commitsium meeting of Diocese of Shimoga was held at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Shimoga. Spiritual Director of Legion of Mary Fr Franklin D'Souza was present for the meeting. President Mr. Vijaya Ratna Kumar welcomed Fr Franklin D'Souza the newly appointed Spiritual Director. He thanked Fr. Alvin Stanislaus previous Director. Important agenda was March 11 Annual Convention of Legion of Mary which will be held at Sacred Heart Cathedral.
Fr Franklin D'Souza in his message appreciated the development and growth of Legion of Mary in the Diocese of Shimoga. He also asked everyone to pray for the State, Nation and the World. He stated that Legion is one of the strongest Movement which intercedes for the humanity. He asked the members to inculcate the values of the Gospel and walk in the footsteps of Blessed Virgin Mary.
