Teachers day celebrated at Assumption School Hiriyur, Chitradurga District

September 5, 2022: Students of Assumption School, Hiriyur, Chitradurga District celebrated the teachers day in a very meaningful way. At 8:30am Students as well as teachers gathered at Assumption hall.

Students Divya and Pavan from Assumption English Medium Primary School (AEMPS) gave the introduction for the day.

English Medium High School (AEHS) students led the prayer song. Pranitha from Kannada Medium Primary School welcomed the Manager and Correspondent Rev. Fr Franklin D'Souza and HM of Assumption English High School Rev. Fr Alphonse Nelson D'Souza, Kannada medium Primary School (AKMPS) Rev. Sr Alwyn SAB and Assumption English Medium Primary school Rev. Sr Martha were present.

Rev. Fr Franklin D'Souza together with the HMs garlanded the photo of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. Then Kannada Primary Students sang a wishing song for the teachers.
Followed by dances from 3rd and 4th standard Students of AEHPS, 8th standard Students of AEHS.

AEHPS 7th standard girls performed a dance and AEHS SSLC students presented a beautiful song for teachers. This was followed by AKHPS 7th standard Students dance. AKHS Students performed a skilt. Rev. Fr Franklin D'Souza distributed the prizes for the teachersof AEHS as well as a gift from the management.

AEHPS 5th,6th & 7th boys performed a dance followed by a dance from AEHS 9th standard Students and AKHS 9th standard Students. Rev. Fr Franklin D'Souza distributed the prizes as well as gifts to the AKHPS teachers.

AEHPS 5th, 6th and 7th girls performed a beautiful dance followed by a dance from SSLC students of AKHS. Prizes were distributed to the AKHS teachers and a gift from management.

In his message, Rev. Fr Franklin D'Souza congratulated the efforts of the teachers in forming the students in education and other activities. He said that we should be the inspirers for the students and we have to encourage them. He also prayed and blessed the students and teachers.
