November 11, 2023: The first phase of 9 days "Barefoot Counsellors Training Workshop" was conducted for the staff of the educational institutions of our Diocese of Shimoga from 01 to 03 November at Sannidhi, Shimoga. Fr Joyson Vas SJ was the resource person. Altogether 31 teachers participated and benefited from the workshop. The same trainees will go through two more phases of the training of 3 days each.

From Assumption School 4 staff participated in the training program. Ms. Shobha from Assumption English Primary School, Mr. Prabhu from Assumption Kannada Primary School, Mr. Raghavendra from Assumption English High School and Ms. Anitha from Assumption Kannada High School took part in the program.

On November 9th at 4pm Manager and Corresspondent Rev. Fr Franklin D'Souza called a preparatory meeting for the Annual Day 2023.All the four staff shared their experiences to the staff members. Then regarding School day preparations were discussed.
