Chitradurga, Hiriyur, June 9, 2024: Sunday Catechism is inaugurated at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur, Chitradurga District, Diocese of Shimoga, on June 9th.

At 8am Parish Priest Fr Franklin D'Souza offered the Holy Eucharist together with the Assistant Parish Priest Fr Nelson D'Souza. Fr Nelson D'Souza preached a meaningful homily on day's readings as well as he explained importance of Sunday Catechism for the children.

After the Creed Fr Franklin D'Souza led the Oath taking ceremony.

Catechism teachers led the liturgical readings as well as prayers of the faithful.
