Chitradurga, Hiriyur, June 9, 2024: Most Rev. Dr Francis Serrao SJ has appointed Rev. Fr Paul Crasta as the Assistant Parish Priest of Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur.

On 9th at 5:30pm he was welcomed by Parish Priest of Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur Rev. Fr Franklin D'Souza together with Fr Nelson D'Souza and the Parishioners near the main gate. Rev. Fr Stephen Maxi Albuquerque together with his 15 Parishioners came to reach Fr Paul Crasta to Hiriyur.

A small prayer service was held inside the Church.

Fr Paul Crasta was born in 1989. His native is Our Lady of Dolores Church, Bela, Kasaragod, Kerala. He is the Son of the Raphael Crasta & Eliza Crasta. Among five children two of them are already Nuns. After his ecclesiastical studies he was ordained on July 3rd 2020. As a Deacon he served at Karehally. Then three years as Assistant Parish Priest of St. Parish of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
