BHOPAL - May 21st 2014: Indian Catholic Youth Movement National Executive Members participated in the ever first YCS/YSM Convention at St. Xaviers School, Barkhera, Bhopal from May 18 to 21 May 2014. On May 20th YCS/YSM EXCO and ICYM NEXCO held joint meeting to discuss about possibilities of networking together. Many positive decisions were emerged from the interaction. It is decided that hereby ICYM NEXCO will participates in all the National Programs of the YCS/YSM. And YCS/YSM India will participate in all the National events of ICYM. Also it is decided that directors will work with more closely since ICYM and YCS/YSM both are sister bodies of CBCI.

From ICYM President Mr. Neelam Suresh Rao from AP, General Secretary Mary Jemcy from Kerala, Spokesperson II Mr. Cosmos Toppo from Chhattisgarh, Treasurer Mr. James D’Souza from Western Region, Treasurer II Ms. Julia Joseph from Northern Region, Secretary Mr. Swapnil Simon form M.P Region, RYD representatives; Fr. Rajesh Mathew from Western Region and Fr. Chetan Machado from Northern Region, from CBCI Office for youth Program coordinator Mr. Prashanth D’Souza and Ex NEXCO’s Mr. Savio Daniel from M.P  and Mr. Alison Pereira from Western Region took active part in four days YCS/YSM Convention. ICYM National Youth Director Fr. Franklin D’Souza was also one of the resource people who led the team for this ever first historical convention.
