April 14 : YEAR OF THE FAITH & ICYM NATIONAL YOUTH CONVENTION 2013; The 9th ICYM National Youth Convention by CBCI Office for YOUTH – ICYM will commence from October 5 to 12, 2013 at Trinity College, Jalandhar, Punjab. The theme of the convention is: Transformed by Faith; Transforming the World and the thrusts are: Networking, Gender Parity, Employability, and Caring for the Earth. Convention will conclude with peace rally for which one lakh people will gather. On 12th October 3 pm concluding Holy Mass will be celebrated by His Excellency Archbishop Salvatore Pennacchio, Apostolic Nuncio in India. In this convention from the166 dioceses’ 7 delegates each will take part. All together 1600 delegates will be taking part in this mega event. Theme and thrust for coming THREE Years will be evolved in this Convention. The logo of the NYC 2013 was released at Delhi by Most Rev. Anil Couto, Archbishop of Delhi & the Patron of NYC 2013 on April14, 2013.
