Greetings from Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India (CBCI) Office for Youth
We are happy to inform you that you have an opportunity to be a concelebrate in the Opening Mass (Tuesday, August 16th in Cibeles) and in the Mass with the Holy Father (Sunday, August 21st in Cuatro Vientos) in the World Youth Day 2011.
In order to get the accreditation for the same kindly go through the following instruction. If you are interested/ willing to participate in the Mass please reply back as soon as you receive this email. We have to submit this before June 10, 2011.
The instructions are as followed:
PERSONAL ACCREDITATION FOR PRIESTS AND DEACONS
1. All priests need personal accreditation in order to concelebrate in the Opening Mass (Tuesday, August 16th in Cibeles) and in the Mass with the Holy Father (Sunday, August 21st in Cuatro Vientos); in order to confess in the "Feast of Forgiveness" in the "Retiro Park" and in the plaza called Cuatro Vientos during the Vigil and the Mass.
2. The deacons need personal accreditation in order to be ministers of communion.
3. The one who is accredited can pick up the accreditation card in the Center of Coordination and Welcoming of Pilgrims (CECAP) in his zone of housing in Madrid, which we will indicate further on. In the case of those whose inscription doesn't include housing, the accreditation card may be picked up in the World Youth Day office situated in the Plaza of San Juan de la Cruz 2B- Department of Accreditation of Priests.
7. For security reasons, the accreditation card must be picked up in person by the one accredited, after showing a document of personal identification (Passport). (See also the possibility of "Picking up accreditations of groups.")
8. The personal data of each priest or deacon will be studied by the Minister of Internal Affairs. The safeguarding of the sacraments demand these requirements.
10. The accreditation as priest or deacon is merely an identification; it does not give rights to any of the services promised to those who are inscribed as pilgrims.
Please note: We recommend accreditation before July 1, 2011.
