Kerala, Muringoor, April 18, 2024: Family Retreat "Kutumbostsava" was organised by Divine Retreat Centre, Muringoor, Kerala from April 14th to 19th. Bishop Francis Serrao SJ, Bishop of Diocese of Shimoga inaugurated the week long Kutumbostsava 2024.

During the retreat on April 15th, at 8:30pm faithful of Karnataka felicitated Rev. Fr Augustine Vallooran VC, Director of Divine Retreat Centre, Muringoor, Kerala. This Centre is the one of biggest Retreat Centre in the world. Last 34 years this Centre has renewed faith of faithful all around the world also specially Church of Karnataka.

Fr Augustine Vallooran VC completed his Golden year of Priestly Ordination and he also completed Platinum birthday. On behalf of faithful of Karnataka Bro. Mahime Raj and Bro. Mohan felicitated Fr Augustine Vallooran VC. Bishop Francis Serrao SJ honoured him with peta, Bro. Mohan with a Shawl and Bro. Mahime Raj with a garland.

KRSC Spiritual Director Fr Franklin D'Souza and Rev. Fr Kanachery spoke felicitatory words about Fr Vallooran VC. Receiving the felicitation Fr Vallooran VC thanked God for his merciful love towards him in his Proclamation ministry. He thanked everyone who prayed and still praying for him.

Bishop Francis Serrao SJ offered a special prayer for Fr Augustine Vallooran VC on behalf of Church of Karnataka and blessed the gathering. Sweets were distributed to all.
