March 12, 2013 : Fr. Franklin D’Souza, Secretary, CBCI Office for Youth – ICYM preached a day’s Konkani retreat at YUSUF SADAN, Sacred Cathedral Compound New Delhi on March 10, 2013. This retreat was organized by KANARA CULTURAL ASSOCIATION (Konkani Association) of New Delhi.
Retreat began at 9 am with Rosary as well as Praise and Worship conducted by KCA Choir team led by Mr. Arun & Mrs. Jean Mary. Fr. Franklin Preached two talks in the morning First one on Luke 18:35-19:10, Second Talk on John 4:4-25. After the lunch Confessions were organized. Fr. Franklin D’Souza, Fr. Chetan Lobo and Fr. Vincent Crasta were in the confessionals. During the convention Blessed Sacrament was exposed for the adoration latter Fr. Franklin concluded the adoration with the healing prayer. Holy Eucharist was offered at 4 PM by Fr Franklin.
Fr. Chetan Lobo, Spiritual Director of KCA thanked Fr. Franklin and everyone who organized retreat. He also introduced KCA’s directory and released the directory. Mr. Vincent KCA President thanked 150 people who came from far and wide of Delhi Archdiocese. He also informed that Residential Renewal Retreat will be conducted by Fr. Franklin, Bro. Francis Lobo – Karwar and Bro. William (music) – Mangalore from April 19-21. He invited everyone to take part in all the KCA programs.
