Chitradurga - Hiriyur October 31, 2022: Teachers' felicitation and Silver Jubilee Reunion of 1997-1998 batch of Assumption School held at Assumption campus on October 30th at Hiriyur Chitradurga District.

Program began at 10:30am at Assumption Church Hall. Alumni introduced one another. Official inauguration was at 11:30am.

Fr Franklin D'Souza, Manager and Correspondent of Assumption School, Hiriyur together with Fr Alphonse Nelson D'Souza - Principal of Assumption English High School, Fr Stany Mariyappa then Manager and Correspondent, Sr. Rosy Jacob HM of 1997-98 batch, Sr. Martha - HM of Assumption English Primary School, Sr Alwyn Alphonse - HM of Assumption Kannada Primary School inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp.

Dr. M Prasad welcomed the dignitaries. Fr Franklin D'Souza led the opening prayer.
Ms. Anita George and Ms. Poojitha were MCs of the program.

Batch felicitated Fr Franklin D'Souza, Fr Nelson D'Souza, Sr. Alwyn Alphonse, Sr. Martha, Fr Stany Mariyappa, Sr. Rosy Jacob, Mr. Henry Crasta, Mr. Devraj, Mr. Nagraj, Mr. Dayanadhappa, Mr. Manjunath, Ms. Lavanya, Ms. Milda, Ms. Rita, Ms. Luvina, Ms. Mary D'Souza, Ms. Patricia, Mr. Arulappa and Ms. Anusuya.

Present Manager and Correspondent Fr Franklin D'Souza congratulated the batch for their selfless love and effort to come back their Alma Mater and thank the teachers and School. He appreciated all of them and said this type of program gives great joy and happiness in service that we do. He said this is the greatest gift that students can give to their teachers as well as to their School and 1997-98 batch proved it.

Fr Stany Mariyappa congratulated and blessed the batch. Sr. Rosy Jacob then HM appreciated by saying that this is reunion is a dream for me in my religious life. She asked all of them to continue with the value based education they received in Assumption. All most all teachers shared their thoughts. Most of them were very emotional to get honoured by their own students.

Fr Alphonse Nelson D'Souza said that this shows the humility of the batch to come back and thank their teachers as well as institution. He concluded the program with a prayer.

Dr. M Prasad thanked every one who helped to organise the program.
