July 30,2023: St. Don Bosco SCC celebrated their SCC day at Don Bosco SCC unit. At 8am Fr Alphonse Nelson D'Souza celebrated Holy Eucharist and Fr Franklin Phillip D'Souza preached a meaningful homily on discernment. St. Don Bosco SCC led the liturgy.

During the Mass Sisters of the Convent as they celebrated their Patroness feast on July 26th St. Anne, special prayers were held during the mass for the couples. Fr Franklin D'Souza blessed the couples after the final prayer and prayed for them and elderly faithful of the Parish.

Evening at 7pm Don Bosco SCC unit faithful gathered at Mrs. Mary Joseph's House and a get together was held. Mrs. Milda Rosy compered the program. SCC animators from other SCC unit were present.

Fr Franklin D’Souza, Fr Nelson D'Souza, Sr. Metty, Mrs. Madala Maria and Animator Mrs. Mary Rani were present for the program.

Fr Franklin D’Souza in his message appreciated the SCC commitment and dedication of this unit. He told that we should strengthen other units too by visiting them. He also said that everyone should take part in the samudaya prayer. Get-together brings us closer. So once a year we as unit should come together and encourage one another.

Fr Nelson D'Souza in his speech told that Couples make the family, families come together then we have SCC unit, all the units make the beautiful Parish. He appreciated Don Bosco SCC unit for having Get-together every year.

Women presented a meaningful prayer dance. Children gave the entertainment programs. Fr Nelson D'Souza conducted some games to all.

Meals was served for all.
