Khandwa Diocesan Youth Commssion - ICYM organised Animators Training Program on July 8th & 9th, 2013 at Diocesan Pastoral Centre - Khandwa. Resource Persons were Fr. Franklin D’Souza, ICYM National Youth Director & Mr. Prashant D’Souza, ICYM office Project & Program coordinator, CBCI – ICYM Delhi.
Program began on 8th at 11 am Fr. Victor, DYD of Khandwa welcomed the dignitaries with flower garlands. After lighting of the lamp by dignitaries, Fr. Franklin conducted the session.
In the First Session; Fr Franklin dealt with “Never Give Up & How to manage failure and turn it in to success”. Mr. Prashant shared his own testimony for the animators.
After the Lunch at 2.30pm Fr Franklin conducted activity “win as much as you can” and brought out the scenario of youth mission very effectively. At 5.30pm he spoke on “Youth Spirituality”. At 7 pm he offered Holy Mass and conducted Eucharistic adoration for the animators.
On 9th at 7am audio visual holy Mass was offered by Fr Franklin. He brought the aspect of Faith and sharing. At 9 am Fr Franklin spoke on “history, development of the CBCI Youth Office & ICYM” In which Mr. Prashanth spoke on volunteerism. He shared his own experience. After the tea Fr. Franklin spoke on “Animators role in accompanying the Youth”. Team decided to concentrate upon five important aspects of the Youth Ministry in the diocese of Khandwa. Evaluation was conducted by Fr. John Victor. DYLA Sr. Snajitha FSI thanked Fr. Franklin and Mr. Prashnath for coming to Khandwa diocese to motivate animators.
